Michigan State and all those points is the play.

These two teams have stout defenses and offenses that never seem to be in a hurry to score points or run plays. Combine that with a forecast currently calling for high winds in East Lansing, and it's not going to be easy to find points on Saturday.

The Spartans have had the upper hand in this rivalry of late, and they have had a special knack for ruining the goals of the rival Wolverines. That has to be Michigan State's immediate goals because a pair of upset losses have essentially ruined its own hopes of a potential Big 10 title and playoff consideration. But the Spartans bounced back from an upset home loss to Northwestern with a vintage performance in an upset of Penn State last week. A repeat performance practically ensures they will take Michigan to the wire with the potential of an outright victory.
