Taking the points in the New Orleans Bowl with the highly motivated Ragin Cajuns, who have covered four straight. Southern Miss has lost five of its past seven and enters on a 1-7 ATS skid. Look for a big game from Louisiana-Lafayette RB Elijah McGuire as the underdog keeps it close in front of a partisan crowd.

Offense has been the name of the game for the Golden Eagles. QB Nick Mullins does a great job of spreading the wealth. My concern is with a Southern Miss defense that has issues stopping the run. Look for Ragin’ Cajuns RB Elijah McGuire to have a big day and for a vastly improved Cajuns' defense to make Southern Miss one-dimensional. Take the points.

I'm projecting 70 points for the New Orleans Bowl, giving us a nice cushion Over the total. Look for the Over to improve to 5-1 in Southern Miss' last six bowl games.
