It looks like Tony Skinn has decided that if his GMU is to flourish this season, it will be doing it in the slow lane. The Patriots are now under four straight and seven of nine, and no scoreline above 126 in those last four. GMU is also mostly winning lately, too (9-2 SU last 11), so Skinn will continue to stress a controlled pace and defense while hoping one or two of his shooters (in recent games it's been UMass-Lowell transfer G Brayden O'Connor) can carry the offense. Not sure the Minutemen can speed up the Patriots, and the inefficient UMass offense gets into real trouble when it falls behind, as its 26.2% three-point shooting isn't built to play catch-up.
