A-10 Tournament from Brooklyn. The Hawks are without center Ejike Obinna but forward Kacper Klaczek is good to go. They also have the best player on the floor in Erik Reynolds (19.4 ppg). He closed out the regular season with back-to-back 33-point performances against St. Bonaventure and Richmond, becoming the first Hawk since Jameer Nelson in March 2003 to record consecutive 30-point games. Saint Joseph's won both regular-season meetings vs. Loyola.
St. Joseph’s is dealing with some key injuries to open the A-10 tournament. The Hawks are without Ejike Obinna and possibly Kacper Klaczek, two forward’s who are their best rebounders down-low. Loyola-Chicago should benefit if just one of these two are not able to go, as they would have difficulty rebounding. However, the Ramblers come off a nice win over LaSalle, where they limited the turnovers which has been their biggest weakness. They also improved their shooting over the last three game at 54.6 percent effectively to St. Joseph’s 51.8 percent. With the Hawks dealing with injuries, I’m on Loyola-Chicago.
