The SportsLine Projection Model has BC winning outright in what some call the "Holy War on the Hardwood." ESPN's BPI rankings and Sagarin also have BC as slightly winning. Why this is up to Irish -5 makes me think the public loves to hammer Notre Dame in basketball just like it does in football. The Fighting Irish are 1-6 ATS in their last seven as favorites. Boston College is 5-0 at home, albeit against not-great competition. Still, the Eagles have trailed for just a total of 49 seconds in those games. ND is going to get few buckets in the lane thanks to the presence of BC 7-foot transfer Quinten Post.

This is a fade on the Irish as they 1-5 ATS and have lost three of their past four SU. The Eagles have been overperforming so far, and their defense has been outstanding in only allowing 60.1 PPG. Notre Dame should struggle again and BC will cover.
