    Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    Matt's Analysis:

CBS Sports Network has this matchup. It's one of the biggest home games in College of Charleston history, and the Cougars are pretty good at 3-0. New coach Pat Kelsey brought in three impressive transfers in John Meeks, who averaged 25.3 points last season at Bucknell, a two-time Division III All-American in Dimitrius Underwood, and three-time Division II All-American in Dalton Bolon. This screams trap game for the Heels as it's their first on the road under Hubert Davis and ahead of a huge matchup vs. No. 6 Purdue on Saturday. I will be surprised if Charleston loses by double digits and not even that shocked with an upset. The SportsLine Projection Model only has Charleston losing by 3.
