Nebraska's leading scorer Teddy Allen (16.4 ppg) left the program earlier Monday, yet I still think the Huskers will be competitive here as it's their home finale and they played well Saturday in knocking off Minnesota. Allen was scoreless in just 10 minutes, so maybe he won't be missed that much. Rutgers certainly should win, but the Scarlet Knights have had some major road hiccups at times this season. They are 1-4 ATS in their past five road games vs. a team with a losing home record.
The Cornhuskers managed to end their five-game losing streak last time out, defeating Minnesota by four points at home on Saturday. But they've posted back-to-back wins just once this season, and that occasion came during their first week of play. The Scarlet Knights are coming off an 11-point home victory over Indiana in which Ron Harper Jr. became the team's first player to score 20 points since Montez Mathis had 25 on Dec. 29 against Purdue. Look for Rutgers to win fairly comfortably.
