Auburn @ Georgia

The youth of the Auburn Tigers has not matched up well early in SEC conference play. At 0-4, they are dead last in the conference and in dire need of confidence. On Wednesday, they’ll face a Georgia team whose 7-1 home record is devalued based on a weak schedule. Take the Tigers to get their first conference win.

Something has to give here as both the Tigers and Dawgs are winless in SEC play. We will back Georgia for three reasons. First, UGA is obviously at home and there will be some fans in attendance. Second, the Dawgs will welcome their highest-ranked recruit of the 2020 class in four-star guard K.D. Johnson. He was finally made eligible Monday. Third, Auburn reportedly will again be without freshman guard Justin Powell due to injury. He's averaging 11.7 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.7 assists but hasn't played since Jan. 2. Auburn is 0-4 ATS in its past four on the road, and the home team has covered the past four in the series.
