Texas Tech is playing great defense, complementing its ability to shoot 3-pointers. The Red Raiders lead the Big 12 in that department (36.1 percent). Oklahoma has lost three straight, albeit against tough competition. Still, look for the favorite to improve to 6-1-1 in the last eight meetings.

Oklahoma plays poorly away from Norman, having lost six in a row straight-up. And while the Sooners are the designated home side, this game unfolds in Oklahoma City, which makes it a neutral court. Of recent significance, Oklahoma has lost by 17, 11 and 17 points in its last three outings. Texas Tech, with five outright wins in its last six games, is rediscovering the magic from its national runner-up magnificence of a season ago.

The Sooners find themselves on the NCAA Tournament bubble after a grueling stretch that featured games against No. 1 Baylor, No. 3 Kansas and rival Oklahoma State. But Tuesday's game against Texas Tech should be a good spot for the Sooners. In the prior matchup on Feb. 4 neither team led by more than four points over the first 38 minutes. Expect another tight game with the home team covering.
