Brian Gregory has done a tremendous job with yet another program. USF had just 24 wins in its previous three seasons before Gregory, who has 22 wins in his second season at the helm. Gregory knows how to teach defense, and that is the big reason why is team has been so successful. DePaul is all offense and the Bulls are all defense. DePaul has dictated the pace throughout the CBI, ringing up NBA-type points amounts of 100, 97, 92. Significantly, all three were at home games. USF can impose a slower tempo in its fourth consecutive tournament home game -- and DePaul’s first away. The Bulls’ prior games resulted in 132, 123 and 103 total points tallied, and the firstt-ime visitors will struggle to adjust. DePaul has failed to cover in its last four away dates and, oddly, in its eight previous meetings with the Bulls.
