Norfolk State won the MEAC regular season title, so it made the NIT. That's great for Norfolk, but using KenPom, the MEAC is the worst conference in college basketball by a significant margin. The Spartans have played only three top 100 teams in KenPom this season, and they're 0-3 in those games, losing by an average of 21.3 points per game. Now they're on the road to face a superior Alabama team that should cover this spread with ease as long as they have the desire to play in this game. I believe Avery Johnson will have them ready.
