This will be Auburn's fourth game in four days, while the Vols are playing their third in three. Both teams have played in close games throughout the tournament as well, so I would expect some tired legs and minds on the court, and that usually plays well for Unders. The concern here is that Auburn likes to light it up from three, and while the Vols defense has been fantastic, it's not great defending the three.
Playing Tennessee over Kentucky is a big break for Auburn. They would have struggled with Kentucky’s size, but I like the way they can disrupt an offense, and they can shoot outside. They keep it close and even win if they hit outside shots. They can disrupt Tennessee.
The Vols are coming off a big win over a heated rival, Kentucky, but must be ready for the SEC Championship Game. Auburn knocked them off the final game of the regular season, dropping Tennessee from a first-place tie with LSU to a second-place tie with Kentucky. With Kentucky out of the picture, Bridgestone Arena will be full of Tennessee fans. I'll take the better team playing at home with revenge. My projection: Tennessee 78, Auburn 68.
