For the past few seasons, the Aztecs have been a middling Mountain West team except for when they play Nevada in San Diego or when they are in the conference tournament. Both factors are in play Friday. SDSU dominated the first matchup at home with the Wolf Pack, who repaid the favor with a stomping in the regular-season finale in Reno. this one should fall somewhere in between, with the Aztecs putting up enough of a fight to cover but with Nevada moving on.
