You would think this matchup draws a larger line, but no. Davidson placed fourth in its league and fell to Iowa by 31 in its previous NCAA appearance three seasons ago.

The 12 vs. 5 matchup is always circled and has a right to be here. Kentucky came on hot to conclude the regular season but are they a true No. 5 seed? Likely not, which spells trouble against a Davidson team that boasts two electric scorers in Peyton Aldridge and Kellan Grady. Look for Davidson to hold its own against Kentucky. Grab the points.

Davidson is one of the most efficient shooting teams in the country on two-pointers, three-pointers and at the free throw line. Davidson takes care of the basketball and always gets a good look and quality shots. Davidson put up 60 on Virginia, which only seven other teams were able to do. Davidson also put up 75 on North Carolina -- a similar team to Kentucky. Kentucky hammers the offensive boards and gets to the free throw line to create scoring. The Cats scored 86 and 77 in their last two games against well above average defenses in Alabama and Tennessee.
