It all comes down to who will give great effort and who will go through the motions. Northeastern is locked into the No. 2 spot for the Colonial Athletic Conference with its Thursday home win over Towson. Today's game against Elon is meaningless for Northeastern. Elon has a half-game lead for the No. 6 spot in the standings for a first-round conference tournament bye. I liked Elon three games ago against Wilmington, but did not get the money. Elon has a horrendous against-the-spread record on the season but is 5-4 ATS at home.
