A year ago at this time, Virginia suffered an overtime loss to Virginia Tech that spawned a four-game skid for the Cavaliers down the stretch in ACC play. The circumstances are eerily similar Tuesday, with Virginia coming off an overtime loss Saturday to Virginia Tech and facing a Miami team hungry for a bounce-back win after a loss at Boston College. The Cavaliers are the top defensive team in the country by a wide margin, but the effort it takes to get there eventually takes a toll and leads to a letdown span. I believe Virginia is headed there again.
