Every so often, a point spread makes perfect sense. These teams are about as evenly matched as you can get. Purdue's offensive and defensive efficiency ratings are fourth and 13th, respectively; and Michigan State is ninth and 10th, respectively. Factor in three points for home-court advantage, and there you have it. Stylistically, the Boilermakers have a dream team: four wing players who shoot threes better than any bunch in the nation and a 7-foot-2 post man -- backed up by a 7-foot-3 guy. The Boilermakers' senior-dominated lineup will not be cowed by the harsh surroundings. They will exude confidence after sweeping the Spartans handily last season. The road team will flex its muscles again.
