BIG 12 TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND: Jamie Dixon's first year at his alma mater resembled many he oversaw at Pittsburgh -- with a lightning-fast start followed by a resounding thud. The Horned Frogs started 11-1 but are now 17-14. They head into the Big 12 Tournament on a seven-game losing streak that bumped them from bubble contender to postseason afterthought. Even so, the last three defeats came by seven combined points, including a five-point loss to rebuilding Oklahoma in the finale. The Frogs are better than their recent results suggest,and they are the value side here.

BIG 12 TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND: Oklahoma just beat TCU, 73-68, as a 3-point home favorite Saturday to make it six straight covers for the Sooners while sending TCU to its seventh straight loss (1-6 ATS). The Horned Frogs were underdogs in five of those losses and they played against Big-12 elite teams, but the Sooners have finally started to play well after getting off their own seven game losing streak. OU held its own in losses at Oklahoma State, at Baylor and at Kansas during its current cover streak. I like the Sooners' momentum and also feel I'm getting 2 points of value here.
