The College of Charleston and UNC-Wilmington were the two best teams in the Colonial, and it's appropriate to see them fighting it out Monday for the championship and an NCAA berth. Both these teams are riding six-game win streaks and split the two regular-season meetings, with each winning on the road. I have Wilmington 2.5 points better than Charleston on a neutral court. But the tournament is being played nine miles from the Charleston campus. So I'm taking any points I can get with the better defense, despite the spread moving the other way.

As I type these words, the totals have plunged either five or six points on the three league title games Monday. (Lesson: Jump on the Under early, or wait for awhile to grab the Over.) The Under has prevailed in all four finales so far. The most appealing choice of tonight’s trio is the CAA championship, given that the regular season matchups produced 124 and 133 points. UNCW plays at a quick pace, but Charleston will slow it down enough to deliver a total below this amount.
