Elijah Moore projections 2022: Fantasy stats, betting odds, New York Jets player profile, season outlook, simulations

One of the few bright spots in 2021 for the Jets was rookie receiver Elijah Moore, who showed promise in eleven games before missing the final five contests with a quad injury. In his final five healthy games, Moore caught 28 passes for 392 yards and five scores. Extrapolate those numbers over a full season and 95 catches for 1300+ yards would put Moore on the fringe of fantasy WR1 territory. Unfortunately that would require QB Zach Wilson to take a giant step forward in 2022 which seems questionable at best.

The Jets also added top ten draft pick Garrett Wilson and surprisingly look to have a competent receiving core also including Corey Davis and free agent signees, tight ends C.J. Uzomah and Tyler Conklin. With Moore likely to play in the slot, a 70+ catch season isn't unrealistic and 1,000 yards should be in play. 

For those Jets optimists, the former Ole Miss receiver might be worthy of a low-end fantasy WR2 play, if not a weekly flex start, especially in PPR leagues. For the rest of the fantasy football world, Moore is a solid WR3 who should be a matchup-based play in PPR and non-PPR formats.
