With the poor weather conditions in Green Bay, it's going to make winning by a large margin hard for the Packers, so I love getting this many points even with the mismatch in talent. The weather should actually be to the Jaguars' advantage, as they're better running the ball with James Robinson anyway, especially against a Packers front that has issues defending the run at time this year. And on the flip side, the Jaguars pass defense can use any help it can get to contain Aaron Rodgers. With field goals and extra points tougher to manage as well, it makes it even harder for the Packer to build the large lead they need to cover here.
None of my colleagues took a shot on this game, so we'll give it a go. Obviously the Jaguars stink and Green Bay is on extra rest. However, the weather is supposed to be pretty lousy -- see a news feed story on how the total has plummeted -- so that could keep scoring down and in theory allow the Jaguars to hang close. In addition, the Pack could be without their top two corners. I'll be buying this to +14.5, but we will say the Jags can hang within 10 or so on a late backdoor cover.
