Host Jonathan Coachman is joined by Mike McClure, John Bollman and Allie O'Neill on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get highlighted plays for Major League Baseball, NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs and NBA Playoffs for Thursday, May 26, and you can stream the show live every morning on the SportsLine YouTube page.

The experts go through some story lines, including an MLB weather update from Mike. John goes over injuries that have been hampering a lot of MLB teams, including the Yankees and Brewers.

Coach then offers up the SportsLine Play of the Day, which is an NHL Playoffs pick. The play is the Hurricanes -150 at home against the Rangers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals (7 p.m. ET). "The home team has really controlled this series thus far," Coachman says, "and we believe tonight Carolina will get it done again at home and take a 3-2 series lead."

Mike has an MLB pick, and he's going with the Yankees Over 3.5 on the team total (-115) at Tampa Bay (6:40 p.m. ET). " I think this is a great spot for the Yankees," McClure says. "Take advantage of the discounted number." Despite its injuries, including Giancarlo Stanton on the IL, Mike knows New York remains one of the best teams in baseball. He also stresses the importance of taking road teams on  totals because they are guaranteed ninth-inning at-bats.

Allie also has an MLB pick on a team toal, and she is taking the Angels Over 4 runs (-114) at home against Toronto (9:38 p.m. ET). O'Neill says the L.A. bats are getting hot, and Blue Jays starter Hyun Jin Ryu could be vulnerable. The Angels average 4.74 runs per game and "crush lefties," she says.

The host then jumps in with two Cash With the Coach plays, and he is going with the Rays +108 against the Yankees. "The Rays at home have been terrific, 5-2 in their last seven games" Coachman says. "And the Yankees had to travel without an off day."

Coachman also has an NBA pick, taking the Warriors -1.5 in the second quarter (-108) against the Mavericks in Game 5 of the Western Conference FInals at 9 p.m. ET.

Bollman wraps it up with an MLB play, taking the Cardinals -120 at home against the Brewers (7:45 p.m. ET). Milwaukee also has been hammered by injuries and is expected to be missing Hunter Renfroe and Willy Adames. Closer Josh Hader could return from family leave, but John doesn't expect it. With St. Louis coming off an off day, meaning a full bullpen backing Adam Wainwright, Bollman likes the Cardinals at almost a pick 'em line.
