Host Jonathan Coachman is joined by sports betting experts Larry Hartstein and Mike McClure on The Early Edge podcast. They give you their best bets for the Field of Dreams Game and more MLB, plus PGA Tour picks for Thursday, August 11.

The crew is fired up about MLB Field of Dreams Game, which feature the Reds vs. Cubs (7:15 p.m. ET). Larry says the balls were "flying out into the corn fields" last year, with eight homers hit by the White Sox and Yankees. 

A light wind will be blowing out, and the Over/Under has moved to 9 runs, so Larry is fascinated to see how it plays out. Mike gives a science lesson on how the slightly higher humidity can increase the flight of the ball and says it should mean a 10 percent boost in run scoring in Dyersville, Iowa tonight.     

Coach then offers up two SportsLine Plays of the Day. The first is an MLB pick from that Field of Dreams Game, and it is Reds Over the Team Total of 3.5 runs (-165). The second is also an MLB play from Orioles vs. Red Sox (7:10 p.m. ET), and the site is backing Baltimore Over 4 on its Team Total (-155).

Money Mike then offers his MLB pick, and he is taking the White Sox -0.5 on the first-half run line (-120) against the Royals (2:10 p.m. ET). "I like this spot for them," McClure says. "It's hard not to with Dylan Cease on the mound." The right-hander is 12-4 with a 1.98 ERA and has allowed one or no runs in 13 straight games. Zack Greinke is set to start for the Royals and is unlikely get past five innings.

Then it's time for Cash With The Coach, and he has two plays from the PGA Tour's FedExCup Playoffs opener, the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis, Tenn. He is backing Rory McIlroy -138 in a tournament matchup with Xander Schauffele and also has Scott Stallings -116 over Harold Varner III.

The Maestro goes back to the diamond, and his MLB pick is Marlins Under the Team Total of 3.5 runs (-115) against the Phillies (1:05 p.m. ET). "You know what the Marlins haven't done the last 10 games?" Larry asks. "They haven't scored four runs in any game." Miami has 13 runs over that span, and Hartstein says it will be lucky to go Over 2.5 this afternoon.
