Today's picks: Why the Warriors will cover against the Mavericks, plus MLB and soccer best bets for Wednesday, May 18

Coach starts things off with two SportsLine plays of the day. The first is the Warriors (-4.5) to cover against the Mavericks in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals (9 p.m. ET). "The Mavericks [are] coming off a really hard fought seven-game series against the Suns," he says.

The second play is Over 7.5 runs in the Guardians-Reds game (6:10 p.m. ET). "The Reds are 7-1 to the Over when today's pitcher, Tyler Mahle, is on the bump," Coach says.

McClure has one play, from Major League Baseball: Cardinals Team Total Over 2.5 runs (-120) in the game against the Mets (7:10 p.m. ET). "[Mets starter Max Scherzer] gives up a lot of hard contact at times, a lot of home runs," he says.

Coach then chimes in with his Cash with Coach play: Over 8 runs (-118) in the Dodgers-Diamondbacks game (4:10 p.m. ET). "The first three games of this series: 9, 13 and 15 runs," he says.

Buckets has two soccer plays. The first comes from the Europa League final between Frankfurt and Rangers (3 p.m. ET): Over 1.5 Team Total Goals for Frankfurt (+125). "Frankfurt is the only team in all of the Europa League that has scored in every single match of this competition," he says.

He dips into the MLS for his second play: Both Teams To Score: Yes (+100) in the Montreal-Nashville match (8:30 p.m. ET). "Both Teams To Score has hit in nine of [Montreal's] last 10 matches, and they have the most goals conceded and scored in the MLS right now," he says.

Green closes out the show with two plays from the Europa League final between Frankfurt and Rangers. The first is Both Teams To Score: Yes (-130). "[Frankfurt] have scored in all six of their Europa League knockout stage games this season, however Frankfurt have also conceded in five of their six knockout stage games," he says.

He also likes Frankfurt (+130) to win on the moneyline. "[The Bundesliga] is a far stronger league than the Scottish Premiership," he says.
