Jonathan Coachman is joined by top sports betting experts Larry Hartstein and Mike McClure on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get highlighted plays for the MLB, golf and soccer for Wednesday, Aug. 17, and you can stream the show live every morning on the SportsLine YouTube page.

Coach starts things off with two SportsLine plays of the day. The first comes courtesy of Jon (Buckets) Eimer: Benfica Team Total to go Over 1.5 (-120) against Dynamo Kyiv (3 p.m. ET). "The team from Ukraine, we believe they've met the end of the road," Coach says.

The second play comes courtesy of Allan Bell: Both Team To Score (-165) in the Vancouver-Colorado match (10 p.m. ET). "These teams have been scoring and scoring a lot," Coach says.

McClure has one play, from MLB: Twins Team Total to go Over 4.5 (-110) against Kansas City and lefty Daniel Lynch (1:10 p.m. ET). "I love this Twins lineup against lefthanded pitching," he says.

Coach then chimes in with three Cash With Coach plays, all head-to-head plays from the BMW Championship, which begins on Thursday at Wilmington Country Club. The first is Troy Merritt (-105) over Chez Reavie over four rounds. "Troy Merritt has been playing very very good recently," he says.

The second play is Adam Scott (-105) over Keegan Bradley over four rounds. "[Scott's] having kind of a resurgence in his career," he says.

His final play is Jon Rahm (-150) over Hideki Matsuyama in the first round. "Hideki has been hurt all year," he says. "He pulled out of last week's event with a neck issue."

Hartstein closes out the show with a MLB play: the Cubs (-0.5) to cover the first five run line against the Nationals and starter Cory Abbott (1:05 p.m. ET). "[Abbott] has good stuff, but he has no command," he says. "The last two starts: 7.2 innings, eight walks, 11 runs."
