We are fading Sixto Sanchez again - great kid with a great story but he belongs in Marlins miserable pen. Rockies have better lineup and their starter has at least been regularly getting 15 outs; Sanchez might not make it through 2 and MIA doesn't have a pen to fill that volume. Rockies starting pitchers have compiled a 1-16 won-loss record, but I like Ryan Feltner's chances to get his second win of the year. His 3.35 xERA shows he's hasn't performed like a 5.68 ERA pitcher in the slightest, and his unlucky .417 BABIP will regress at some point. That should come today against a bad Marlins offense that scores 3.47 runs per game. If Feltner is pitching up to the level of his underlying metrics, Bud Black should be in no hurry to turn to a bullpen that's compiled a 5.26 ERA this season, allowing the starter to pitch into the sixth inning.
