ANALYSIS

Positives: Pocket passer with the arm strength to get the ball deep…Quick in his release, effectively hitting his open receivers…Throws the slant pass very well and hits his backs in stride…Alert enough to consistently pick apart defenses in the short area…Gets the ball up with good height and depth…Has a normal three-quarter release…Comfortable moving around the backfield to buy time for his receivers to get open…Take charge leader who makes proper reads and stays in control when flushed out of the pocket…Excels at laying the pass over the defenders into his receiver's outstretched arms…Shows a good, soft touch in the short area passing game.

Negatives: Has a short, narrow frame with adequate leg development…Worked mostly in the shot gun, appearing to lack the leg drive from center…While he can throw deep, his passes tend to hang up and float in that area…Shows poor pocket presence, preferring to roll out in order to spot his targets…Even with his scrambling ability, he does not have the leg drive to absorb and push the initial tackler to gain more yardage.
