ANALYSIS

Built like a fullback, Seth was the vocal leader of the Stampede offense…He relished getting the ball in crucial situations and punished defenders that dared to get in his way when running with the ball…One of the strongest members of the team with a 405-pound bench press, 500-pound squat, and 325-pound power clean…He has excellent arm strength and sees the field well…He also saw action as the team's punter…He finished as the school's all-time passing leader with 4,282 yards and ranked second in career touchdowns with 36, as he completed 287 of 517 passes (55.5%)…Gained 580 yards with 14 scores on 234 carries (2.5 avg)…Also punted 32 times for 1,228 yards (38.4 avg)…Began his career at Idaho State before joining the Stampede, hitting on 131 of 259 attempts (50.6%) for 1,641 yards and nine touchdowns while adding 126 yards and three scores on 104 carries (1.2 avg) in 17 games for the Bengals…All told, he played in 37 games during his collegiate career, gaining 5,923 yards with 45 touchdowns on 418 of 776 passes (53.9%) and 706 yards with 17 scores on 338 rushes (2.1 avg).


2001 SEASON

Football Gazette All-American honorable mention, adding Division 1-AA All-Independent accolades…Played in nine games, completing 112 of 211 passes (53.1%) for 1,610 yards, 13 touchdowns and only five interceptions…Second on the team with 125 carries for 328 yards (2.6 avg) and led the squad with eight scores…Handled punting chores for the first four games as he punted 32 times for 1,228 yards (38.4 avg).

  • Montana -- Hit on 14 of 31 tosses for 104 yards and a score, adding another touchdown on a 33-yard run while punting 8 times for 311 yards.
  • Sacramento State -- Totaled 390 yards on 14 of 21 tries with 4 touchdowns, including 22 and 95-yarders to Adam Herzing, adding scoring runs of 1, 1 and 6 yards…His 390 yards rank fifth on the school's game-record list while his four scoring tosses are topped only by his five-touchdown effort vs. Montana State in 2000…His 95-yarder was the longest pass completion in school history.
  • Montana State -- Completed 9 of 16 attempts for 221 yards and a 62-yard touchdown to Darrell Jones, adding 54 yards on 14 carries with a pair of 1-yard scores.
  • Western Washington -- Averaged 39.6 yards on 5 counts as he picked up 61 yards on 15 carries and hit on 20 of 31 throws for 274 yards, including a 74-yard touchdown to Jones.
  • Southern Utah -- Followed with 184 yards on 21 of 36 tries with touchdowns of 8, 14 and 51 yards to Herzing…Also rushed 16 times for 81 yards and a 2-yard score.
  • Cal-Davis -- Connected on 14 of 25 attempts for 199 yards and 2 scores, including an 85-yarder to Jones.
  • Alcorn State -- Completed 5 of 15 throws for 52 yards and a 29-yard score to Jones before leaving the game with a right arm contusion.
  • Weber State and Cal-Northridge -- Did not play (arm).
  • Northern Iowa -- Came off the bench to gain 43 yards on 5 of 11 throws.
  • St. Mary's -- Closed out his career with 13 of 22 passes for 144 yards.


2000 SEASON

Started every game, setting school season-records with 2,672 yards passing and 23 touchdowns, as he completed 175 of 306 passes (57.2%) with only seven interceptions…Rushed for 252 yards and six scores on 109 attempts (2.3 avg).


1999 SEASON

Sat out the year after transferring from Idaho State.


1998 SEASON

Played in every game, starting seven contests for the Idaho State Bengals….Completed 75 of 139 passes (54.0%) for 951 yards, seven touchdowns and three interceptions…Ran for 124 yards and a pair of scores on 62 attempts (2.0 avg).


1997 SEASON

Started five of six games at Idaho State…Completed 56 of 120 passes (46.7%) for 690 yards and a pair of touchdowns…Scored once on 42 carries…Missed the final five contests with a left wrist (navicular bone) fracture.
