If this battle comes down to most fervent fanbases, it's all she wrote for the Redskins' velour-donning Indian chief. If it comes down to the animalistic traits of bird-based mascots (avian 16 seed Poe is thriving in the AFC, as well), it's all she wrote for the Redskins' Hall of Fame superfan. If it comes down to mascot allies, it's all she wrote for Zema Williams (Captain Fear?!).
If it comes down to weightlifting, looking angry, and pretending to assault Cowboys cheerleaders (see previous link), again, Swoop is your logical mascot candidate.
But if it comes down to character, personality, stamina and this competition's keyword -- fierceness -- it's hard to write off 12th seed Chief Zee.
