There aren't too many rivalries with a richer history than the one between the NFL's Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers.

In the opening round of this Mascot contest, it's very fitting to engage these two mascots in a head-to-head battle.

We present second-seeded Staley Da Bear, who gives the outwardly appearance of a furry, loveable mammal. Don’t let that friendly disposition fool you though. Brown bears are tough and mean, and would surely pounce all over the Packers' mascot if given the opportunity.

But hold the phone, or cheese curd for that matter!

Green Bay doesn't have a mascot? Are you kidding me? Indeed it is true, and so the best thing we could come up with, which best symbolizes the Green Bay Packers in our mind, is the very popular cheesehead. Better yet, we offer a block of foam cheese being placed into a package.

Get it? Package? Packers? Hear us out ... it's the best idea we could come up with given our deadline.

Staley Da Bear will have a field day with a foam cheesehead in a package. That is, however, unless we decide to place a real block of 20-year-old aged cheddar in the box instead of a piece of foam.

The horrid smell could force Staley Da Bear to run in the opposite direction. It'll be up to you, our faithful user, to ultimately determine the fate of this particular matchup.
