The opening round of the Mascot contest heads south for an inter-species battle between man and bird.
While their teams may not have an established rivalry, there have been rumors of Rowdy holding illegal falcon fights, but rumors have no place here.
So, will a Wild West cowboy shoot down a soaring falcon? Or will Freddie Falcon’s large talons be too much for the doe-eyed youngster?
The Dallas Cowboys enter the fray with Rowdy leading the way. In 1996 Rowdy jumped on the scene as the Official Mascot of the Dallas Cowboys. Though he may not be as well known as the cheerleaders, Rowdy keeps his antics G-rated to entertain the crowd.
With a large hat that can act as a deterrent against overhead droppings and a continual smile that can only be described as insane, Rowdy is tougher than he appears.
Having the ability to fly has been sought after by humans since the beginning of time. For Freddie the Falcon, flight may be the best strategy in defeating Rowdy.
Freddie can soar through the air and use his large, razor-sharp talons to scratch and slice the smile off Rowdy’s mug.
Whoever or whatever ends up victorious is up to you, however! So vote now for Rowdy or Freddie the Falcon!
