Voting results: S. Carolina: 19%; S. Florida: 18%; Florida Atlantic: 16%; Connecticut: 15%; Virginia: 10%; Missouri: 9%; Georgia: 7%; Alabama: 6% Nine weeks into the tournament, I've decided to shake things up a bit. I've received a bunch of e-mails from readers asking if "x cheerleader from x school" can be given another chance. Well, now here's your chance. Every school's cheerleader that finished second (or in some cases, third, since the second place cheerleader in that particular week won outright in a different week) in voting from weeks 1-8 will compete in Week 9's Second Chance Game. Simple numbers dictated who made the cut. You get to vote on Week 1's Alabama (finished second with nine percent), Week 2's Georgia (finished second with 24 percent), Week 3's Connecticut (finished third with 13 percent), Week 4's Missouri (finished second with 13 percent), Week 5's South Florida (finished fourth with nine percent), Week 6's Florida Atlantic (finished second with 26 percent), Week 7's South Carolina (finished second with 19 percent) and Week 8's Virginia (finished third with 18 percent). And once again, the rules: The weekly winners qualify for a playoff tournament, where cheerleaders are seeded according to the number of votes they received in the regular season. The cheerleader who comes out on top in the end is crowned SPiN's College Cheerleader of the Year. Voting for this week's crop of photos ends on Monday, Nov. 5 at noon EST. Official results will be posted shortly after the polls close. Have fun!
