Voting results: Okla. 40%; Fla. Atlantic 26%; Texas 13%; Kansas St. 9%; Kansas 6%; Ga. 5%; Va. Tech 1% After weeks of trying, Minnesota's cheerleader finally earned a spot in the postseason playoff tournament by holding off LSU and Georgia to win Week 5's contest. It was a close contest between the Golden Gophers, Tigers and Bulldogs, but Minnesota and Georgia eventually turned it into a two-way fight. The Golden Gophers' cheerleader finally pulled ahead for good during the weekend to finish with 32 percent of the vote. LSU ended up with 27 percent, followed by Georgia with 15 percent. South Florida finished fourth with nine percent, FSU and Alabama tied for fifth with eight percent and North Carolina was the Week 5 caboose with a paltry one percent of the vote. This week, we've got cheerleaders and dancers from Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas State, Virginia Tech, Georgia, Florida Atlantic and Kansas vying for your vote. And once again, the rules: The weekly winners qualify for a playoff tournament, where cheerleaders are seeded according to the number of votes they received in the regular season. The cheerleader who comes out on top in the end is crowned SPiN's College Cheerleader of the Year. Voting for this week's crop of photos ends on Monday, Oct. 15 at noon EST. Official results will be posted shortly after the polls close. Have fun!
