Voting results: Miami (Fla.) 35%; Oklahoma 26%; Connecticut 13%; Georgia 9%; Texas 8%; Central Florida 5%; Virginia Tech 2%; Notre Dame 2% Week 2 is now history, and Colorado's cheerleader is the second to qualify for the postseason playoff tournament, joining Week 1 winner Arkansas. The Buffaloes cheerleader received 32 percent of the vote, but it was a neck-to-neck struggle against the Bulldogs cheerleader for most of the week until the weekend when Colorado pulled ahead for good. Minnesota finished third with 15 percent, Colorado's in-state rivals Colorado State finished fourth with 13 percent and South Carolina, Ohio State, BYU and Georgia Tech only managed to draw six, four, three and two percent of the vote, respectively. This week, new cheerleaders and dancers from Miami (Fla.), Connecticut, Central Florida, Oklahoma and Notre Dame enter the fray. And I'm also including a bonus Colorado cheerleader photo for your viewing pleasure. You just can't vote for her this week. And once again, the rules: The weekly winners qualify in a playoff tournament, where cheerleaders are seeded according to the number of votes they received in the regular season. The cheerleader who comes out on top in the end is crowned SPiN's College Cheerleader of the Year. Voting for this week's crop of photos ends on Monday, Sept. 24 at noon EST. Official results will be posted shortly after the polls close. Have fun!
