Israel has injury worries ahead of Euro 2008 qualifying match at England

LONDON (AP) -Roberto Colautti is Israel's biggest injury worry ahead of Saturday's European Championship qualifying match at England.

Colautti, an Argentine who took Israeli citizenship after marrying an Israeli, has scored six goals in eight appearances but has been bothered by a thigh injury.

The striker participated in the opening part of Israel's first training session Tuesday in London, and then practiced Wednesday.

Forward Pini Balili, who plays for Sivasspor in Turkey, said he is ready to play, however.

"We are prepared and we think we can win," Balili said. "We are better than we were before and we think we can do this. It doesn't matter if it is a game against England, Russia or Macedonia, I want to win every game I play in."

Israel goalkeeper Dudu Awat said the team was looking forward to playing at the rebuilt Wembley Stadium.

"It is my first time playing at Wembley, one of the most magnificent stadiums in the world," Awat said. "There is excitement but we are here to get the job done."

The match will be England's first competitive game at the famous stadium, which reopened in March.
