LONDON (AP) -Tottenham's injury problems have got worse since its second defeat of the season left the club bottom of the Premier League.
Striker Dimitar Berbatov has flown to Germany to see a specialist about a persistent groin injury.
"He will be out for a couple of weeks," Tottenham manager Martin Jol said Thursday.
Jol also said center back Younes Kaboul will miss three to four weeks with a hamstring injury from Tuesday's 3-1 defeat to Everton.
Tottenham is already without its first-choice central defensive partnership - Michael Dawson has ankle ligament damage and captain Ledley King is out until October while recovering from knee surgery.
The club's three left backs, Gareth Bale, Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Lee Young-pyo, all have knee injuries.
England midfielder Aaron Lennon also has a knee injury.

LONDON (AP) - Gabriel Agbonlahor was recalled to the England under-21 team Thursday - three months after being dropped from the squad because the Football Association could not contact him.
In May the Aston Villa striker was named in the provisional squad for the under-21 European Championships in the Netherlands, but was withdrawn after failing to confirm his call-up with the FA.
"I think he's been away on holiday and won't return the calls," England under-21 manager Stuart Pearce said at the time.
Agbonlahor has played four under-21 internationals, but is yet to score.
England plays Romania in an under-21 friendly at Bristol City's stadium, Ashton Gate, on Tuesday.
