LONDON (AP) -Tottenham has sent a dossier of evidence related to Manchester United's yearlong pursuit of Dimitar Berbatov to the Premier League.
United manager Alex Ferguson was accused Friday by Spurs of misconduct by arrogantly ignoring their messages that the Bulgaria striker was not for sale, and publicly stating his confidence that a bid had been made and would succeed.
Ferguson dismissed the complaint, saying Spurs would be embarrassed because the comments attributed to him by a British newspaper Friday were misreported. But those quotes were still visible in full in the paper review section of the Red Devils' Web site on Monday.
Spurs have also complained about Liverpool's "disgraceful" conduct in trying to sign Ireland striker Robbie Keane.
Levy said Friday he had not accepted offers for either Berbatov or Keane, but added that both now wish to leave.
