I expect a little bad blood between the Cubs and Brewers this year...and in a bench clearing brawl you never know what Z will do...

I hope so (the bad blood, that is)

But I don't think that would qualify as "keeping his cool"

Well during a rout, Cubs winning 7-1, in the 8th Zambrano strikes out Hardy for the 3rd time on the day. Hardy in frustration, cracks the bat over his leg. Zambrano yells at him to get back to his dugout, upon hearing this Hardy charges at the mound with half of the bat. Z overpowers Hardy and then stuffs the bat down Hardy's pants.

9 game suspension worthy.

  1. If he did crack the bat over his leg, it would probably be in frustration at himself, in which case Zambrano should not (although he probably would) get mad.
  2. J.J. is so not the kind of guy to do that.

  1. Zambrano wasn't mad at him, he just wanted another hitter to come up so he could get them out quicker...he doesn't want heat stroke.
  2. Well when you're hitting .188 and you're team is 10-17, you're gonna get frustrated easily.
