This past week my family and I took a trip to Watkins Glen. Unforgenitly they didnt have any races going on this weekend. But everyday at noon for $25 they let you drive around the track for around 3 laps. So we drove our mini van onto it and did 3 laps in the van. We only got up to around 80 mph, but that was all the van could handle anyway. I dont know if other tracks do the same thing or not; anyone know?
I did miss some of the race, so I dont know about how well a guy did besides the first 100 or so laps and where he finished.
1. Kyle Busch (Last Week: 1st)
If he keeps having finishes like he did Sunday he wont be first for much longer. 2. Jeff Burton (Last Week: 4th)
This was a hard pick, I could have and should went with ether Carl or Jr, but Jeff had the best finish of the 3 and is only 64 points behind Kyle. 3. Carl Edwards (Last Week: 2nd)
His top 10 streak had to come to an end sometime4. Jimmie Johnson (Last Week: 6th)
One of two guys in the top 12 in standings to finish in the top 10.5 Dale Earnhardt Jr. (Last Week: 2nd)
Jr nation wont be to happy about my ranking, but finishing 24th isnt that good and 12th at infinion makes me think that Jr is slowing down just some. 6. Jeff Gordon (Last Week: 5th)
Just missed the top 10. 7. Kasey Kahne (Last Week: 7th)
Most drivers in the top 12 didnt have to good finishes. Kahne finished 30th8.Denny Hamlin (Last Week: 11th)
The other chaser to finish in the top 10.9. Tony Stewart (Last Week: 12th)
Up two spots in the standings to 9th with his 13th place finish. 10. Greg Biffle (Last Week: 8th)
Finished 21st and droped a spot in the standings to 8th. 11..Matt Kenseth (Last Week: 9th)
His top 10 streak ended too, and he droped to 13th in the standings , but he is only 15 points behind Harvick. 12. Martin Truex Jr. (Last Week: 19th)
I had this guy way too low last week. Nice Job with the top 5, and he is up to 14th in the standings, but he is still 71 points behind Harvick. 13.. Clint Bowyer (Last Week: 10th)
Besides Infineon he hasnt had a top 10 finish since Richmond. He has also droped down to 11th in the point standings. 14. Kevin Harvick (Last Week: 17th)
He got himself back into the top 12, but its been 7 races since he has had a top 10 finish.15. Ryan Newman (Last Week: 15th)
Besides is DNF at Michigan he has been racing a lot better lately. 16. Kurt Busch (Last Week: Just Missed)
His win moved him up 4 spots in the standings to 18th. 17. David Ragan (Last Week: 14th)
Whats happening to this guy ? A few weeks ago he was in 12th and now he is 17th around 130 points back. 18. Brian Vickers (Last Week: 13th)
Yeah he is a little bit low, but I couldnt fit him in any higher. 19. Bobby Labonte (Last Week: Just Missed)
Finnaly his first top 10 of the season. 20. Travis Kvapil (Last Week: 18th)
He hasnt had a top 10 since darlington, but he still sits 19th in the standings.
