--C Max Unger and OT Fenuki Tupuo were named to the Outland Trophy Watch List, while DE Nick Reed was on the Lott Trophy hopefuls.

--ROV Patrick Chung, the leader of the Oregon defense, was hobbled in the spring and was held out. He will return in the fall.

--In addition to RB Jonathan Stewart (Carolina) going in the first round and QB Dennis Dixon (Pittsburgh) in the fifth, OT Geoff Schwartz was a seventh-round pick of Carolina. DT David Faaeteete signed with Chicago as a free agent.

SPRING MOVERS

RB LeGarrette Blount -- Oregon coach Mike Bellotti was pleasantly surprised with the immediate impact made by the junior college transfer. "LeGarrette Blount is better than I though he might be," the coach said, adding that Blount "has similar power to Reuben Droughns."

LB Casey Matthews -- He had 10 tackles, including two sacks, in the spring game.

DT Ra'Shon Harris -- He capped a big spring with two tipped passes, the second converted into an interception, in the spring game.

FB Adam Block -- The former walk-on as a LB has recovered from back surgery and was a valuable contributor in the spring. Listed as a FB in an offense that doesn't use one, he also worked as a TB.

LBs Spencer Paysinger and Eddie Pleasant -- Both played well in the spring.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"The first scrimmage the offense sort of dominated, the second scrimmage the defense definitely dominated. This was sort of our third scrimmage and I felt like the offense maybe felt like they had a little bit more to prove today." -- Oregon coach Mike Bellotti after the spring game, with the defense limited because of manpower situations.
