The greatest season in school history was followed by an offseason of change -- some from tumult, some from progress.

Coach June Jones, who led the Warriors to a 12-0 record and Sugar Bowl berth, left to take over the program at SMU. The uproar was so great that athletic director Herman Frazier, whose department was riddled with financial problems, was canned.

Jim Donovan took over as athletic director and defensive coordinator Greg McMackin took over the football program.

Already, they have signed an eight-year, $4.1 million apparel deal with Under Armour and, as a result, redesigned the teams uniforms.

One thing that won't change: the offense. The Warriors will continue to operate the run-and-shoot, although quarterback Colt Brennan and his four standout wide receivers are gone. McMackin retained four of Jones' assistants and hired five new assistants.

Ron Lee is the offensive coordinator and Cal Lee is the defensive coordinator. Both brothers worked under Jones.
