Razorbacks report: Inside slant
The Razorbacks cannot afford to start feeling too good about themselves after last week's upset of Auburn. There's still plenty of room for improvement at Arkansas. "Obviously, the Auburn game was a good win for our football team," said coach Bobby Petrino. "When we went back and really studied the video, we certainly didn't do everything right." The Razorbacks have a chance to build on their win over Auburn with another tough SEC road game Saturday at Kentucky. Rich Brooks' Wildcats have dropped consecutive conference games to Alabama and South Carolina. But they've been extremely competitive and boast the No. 1 scoring defense in the SEC. "I believe, as a team, we are more excited," said Arkansas running back Michael Smith. "We know how we have to play to win now, and as long as everyone comes to practice ready to go, we'll be ready by Saturday. I'm looking forward to a good week in practice and another good game this weekend." Copyright (C) 2008 The Sports Xchange. All Rights Reserved. |
