KEY RETURNEES

ROSTER REPORT

--G Josh White, a 5-10, 167-pound freshman, turned out to be a real find, earning Sun Belt Freshman of the Year honors by scoring a team-high 13.9 points per game and a conference-best .458 shooting percentage from 3-point range.

--Collin Dennis, a transfer from South Florida in his first season with the Mean Green, earned Sun Belt Newcomer of the Year honors by scoring 13.6 points per game and finishing fifth in the Sun Belt in 3-point shooting percentage at .421.

--The Mean Green had high hopes for Adam McCoy when he came to UNT out of junior college, but those expectations didn't start to pan out until late in the season. McCoy averaged only 5.3 points per game but he scored in double figures in two of the last four games, including 21 points on eight of eight shooting in the first round of the Sun Belt tournament against Arkansas State.

--UNT is counting on the return of sophomore G Collin Mangrum, who played a significant role off the bench for the Mean Green as a freshman during its run to the NCAA but sat out the 2007-08 season following knee surgery.
