THE GOOD NEWS
After the last two coaches bailed on UNO to become assistants at other programs, New Orleans native Joe Pasternack appears to be committed to the future of the program.

THE BAD NEWS
Pasternack has a lot of work to do to replace six seniors, including five who played key roles for the Privateers and especially G Bo McCalebb, who completed his career as the Sun Belt's all-time leading scorer and often carried the team on his shoulders, especially down the stretch in close games.

KEY RETURNEES
F Kyndall Dykes, G Kechan Myers, G/F T.J. Worley, C Jaroslav Tyrna.

ROSTER REPORT

--No single Sun Belt player was more important to the success of his team over the past four seasons than UNO G Bo McCalebb, who finished his career as the Sun Belt's all-time leading scorer and passed former Navy great David Robinson for 21st place on the NCAA all-time scoring list with 2,679 career points. UNO will miss his scoring but will also miss his toughness and his willingness to do whatever it took to win, especially late in the game.

--Kyndall Dykes, a JUCO transfer in his first season at UNO, emerged as the Privateers' second-most productive player throughout the season with 13.6 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.

--Kechan Myers, another JUCO transfer, scored only 5.7 points per game but showed he can carry more of the scoring load at times in his first season at UNO. He'll likely need to score more with the loss of McCalebb and seniors James Parlow and Shaun Reynolds. --Jaroslav Tyrna, a 6-10 freshman, played 11.9 minutes off the bench during the conference season but will be another player who needs to step up next season with the departure of Elias in the post.
