GAME PREVIEW

Hartford at UMBC, America East championship game, Saturday

IN FOCUS
The America East Championship (noon, ESPN2) has the makings of a classic. Each team won by one point on its home floor during the regular season. Top-seeded UMBC won 86-85, and No. 2-seeded Hartford returned the favor 58-57 in the regular-season finale. For the Hawks to win the rubber match and earn an NCAA bid, they must go inside to junior forward Warren McLendon, who has posted double-doubles in both tournament games. Hartford, which gives up a league-high 74 points a game, will try to make UMBC play a half-court game as much as possible.

ROSTER REPORT

--Junior forward Warren McLendon has posted double-doubles in each conference tournament game. In the semifinal win over Boston U., McLendon had 13 points and 10 rebounds to go with a career-high five blocks.

--Freshman forward Morgan Sabia is averaging 10.3 points and shooting 42.1 percent from behind the arc.
