Elias' harmless pass turns into goal: Devils LW Patrik Elias scored for the second straight game during Saturday's 2-1 comeback win against the Penguins. The Devils, winning their second in as many nights, led 49-15 in shots but trailed 1-0 until tying it when Elias' seemingly harmless, no-look pass from along the boards deflected off Penguins defenseman Hal Gill's right skate and into the net with 2:29 remaining in the third.

Fantasy Analysis

The Devils signed Brian Rolston in the offseason and that has allowed Elias to move back to his more natural position on the wing. He has had a lot of success playing on the outside and a goal in the first two games is a good start to 2008-09. Elias remains a decent No. 3 or No. 4 Fantasy forward.
