Shannon out with concussion: NHL.com reports Seantors coach Craig Hartsburg said Friday that forward Ryan Shannon is out indefinitely after suffering a "significant" concussion Thursday against the Islanders. Shannon had to be helped off the ice after going down following a Thomas Pock elbow in the third period.

Shannon was placed on the injured reserve Monday after being hurt during Thursday's 3-1 home loss to the New York Islanders. He took an elbow from Thomas Pock, who was given a major penalty and a game misconduct 15:44 into the third period.
