Wild G Niklas Backstrom blew a 2-0 lead Sunday against the Avalanche by allowing two second-period goals, but picked up the win when Marian Gaborik scored his 40th goal 3:10 into overtime. Backstrom is providing some nice efforts down the stretch and helped Minnesota clinch a playoff berth Sunday. They will still be fighting for seeding in the final week (March 31-April 6), but the Wild have just two games. First against Calgary and then in a rematch with Colorado. He is 1-3 in five games against Calgary and 4-1 in five games against Colorado. Backstrom is usually a must-start Fantasy option, as is the Wild TG, but with two games against playoff teams, it could be a tough call for Fantasy Week 27. (Updated 03/30/2008).
