11/17/08RBSteven JacksonThigh Rams coach Jim Haslett said Monday that Steven Jackson won't play vs. the Bears in Week 12, ruling him out much sooner than he ruled him out in previous weeks. "They feel that he should be out this week and we should rest him," Haslett said referring to his medical staff. "We will see what happens next week." Haslett also said that Jackson got a second opinion on his thigh strain and got the same diagnosis. "(Jackson) has a strain with a little bit of blood in it and it is going to take some time to heal," the coach said. "He thought that he should take some time off also and let it heal and rest. I just go with the people that understand that. The trainers, I trust their judgment." (Updated 11/17/2008)
