One suspect pleads guilty in Taylor slaying

MIAMI -- One of five suspects charged in the slaying of Washington Redskins star Sean Taylor has pleaded guilty to charges of second-degree murder and burglary.

Defense attorney Michael Hornung says that according to the plea agreement, Venjah Hunte will serve 29 years in prison and cooperate with prosecutors.

Hornung says Hunte pleaded guilty on Friday but prosecutors requested the plea agreement be sealed because investigators were pursuing the fifth suspect.

That suspect, 16-year-old Timothy Brown, was charged Wednesday with first-degree murder and armed burglary of an occupied dwelling.

Taylor died of massive blood loss after he was shot at his Miami-area home during a botched robbery in November.

Maybe he should have borrowed some guns from Tank Williams
This is why athletes carry weapons
Its his own fault
He had a shady past, and was too cocky to carry a gun
I guess he learned his lesson

This is BS, 29 years for taking someones life? In my opinion, all these young men should get the death penalty. If they can take someones life then the government should be able to take theirs, no matter how old they are. Age wasn't an issue when they murdered Sean.

This little idiots knew exactly what they were doing...they planned this robbery, brought a gun, used it and killed a man in his own home. Time for the justice system to step up and send a message..this is not acceptable and stick them with the needle and end it. THEY KILLED A MAN IN HIS OWN HOME ! WAKE UP !
